How the data is gathered
Every engine is read through its official API — ChatGPT via the OpenAI web-search tool, Gemini via google_search grounding, Claude via its web-search tool. CitedOS never scrapes the consumer chatbots. The only pages it scrapes are the public source pages the engines cite. See Engines & data.
