CitedOS subscriptions are sold by LemonSqueezy as merchant of record — LemonSqueezy is the legal seller on your receipt, and all payments, taxes and refund transactions are executed by LemonSqueezy back to your original payment method. This policy explains when we will approve a refund.
1. 14-day refund window on first purchases
If CitedOS isn’t what you expected, email us within 14 days of your first subscription purchase and we will refund it in full — no questionnaire, no hoops. This applies to your first purchase of a plan (monthly or annual), once per customer.
2. How to request a refund
- Email support@citedos.com from your account email, with your LemonSqueezy order number or a copy of the receipt (the email receipt comes from LemonSqueezy).
- We approve qualifying requests and LemonSqueezy processes the refund to your original payment method — typically visible within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
- Please contact us before raising a card chargeback; we resolve almost everything faster than a dispute does.
3. Renewals and cancellation
- You can cancel anytime from your billing settings (or by emailing us). Cancellation stops future charges and your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period; we don’t prorate partial periods.
- Renewal charges are not automatically refundable, but if a renewal was accidental — for example you meant to cancel just before it billed — contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will make it right.
- Annual plans renew with an email reminder beforehand, so a renewal never lands unannounced.
4. Usage-based credits
Some optional features are metered with credits. Credits that have been consumed are non-refundable, because each one pays for third-party API work already performed. Unused credit balances from a refunded first purchase are cancelled together with the refund.
5. EU and UK consumers
CitedOS is a business tool, but if you purchase as a consumer in the EU or UK you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Because the service is a digital service that begins immediately, you consent at checkout to immediate performance; our 14-day first-purchase window above is designed to meet or exceed that statutory right in practice. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you have, and nothing in it limits refunds required by law.
