Honesty is the default, not a setting
AI citations are noisy. Re-run the same prompt a day apart and the cited vendors shift. It is tempting to flatten that into one confident percentage — but a number that looks stable when the data underneath it isn't is worse than no number at all. So we don't.
We are also upfront about how the data is sourced. All three engines are measured through their official APIs — we never scrape the consumer apps. That means ChatGPT data is an API surface: a strong, well-correlated proxy for the consumer product, not a byte-for-byte copy.
